Training for Frontline Workers & First Responders

As a retired police sergeant and social worker, I know first hand the stressor inherent in frontline work. My unique perspective allows me to create and deliver trainings and workshops focusing on mental health, self-care and resiliency for police, firefighters, paramedics, social workers, counsellors, medical professionals and other helping professions.

If you are interested in training, please contact me directly to discuss how I can meet the needs of your organization/group/service.

I was fortunate to hear Stephanie Miloknay speak about her book, Mental Health Awareness: Self-Care for First Responders, in February 2018.
The book is wonderful but Stephanie is amazing! She is an excellent speaker and we found her to be engaging and sincere during her presentation. Stephanie was able to recount her personal and professional experiences with great passion and was able to relate these accounts directly to the advice she is able to offer in her resource-filled book.
As a dedicated first responder herself, Stephanie has the experience, knowledge, and compassion to deliver much needed and much appreciated information to others who, no doubt, could use the support and understanding to help legitimize the complicated feelings and emotions that are inherent in the life of first responders.
